Pogoda Companies Adds 6 Properties

Pogoda Companies closed out 2021 with the acquisition of 6 self-storage properties; a 5 property portfolio in Indiana and Kentucky and an additional property in Michigan. These purchases add 359,918 square feet and 2,819 units to Pogoda’s growing portfolio.

Pogoda pursued an aggressive growth strategy in 2021 and purchased 12 self storage facilities. It expects to buy a similar number of storage properties in 2022.

The properties have been rebranded under Pogoda’s trademarked name National Storage Centers.

Michael Pogoda, Vice President of Acquisitions, spearheaded these purchases and commented: ”Pogoda Companies was able to purchase these properties off-market and expand our presence into two new states.
